Walks through the Benholm valley
The pathway connecting the riverside walk to the Kirk Benholm
road was reopened in 2008 by a work party from The Bank of
Scotland whose members cut back overhanging branches and
added young plants to the two metre thick habitat hedge we are
gradually putting in place along the western edge of the
site.
Felled timber was cleared this summer by volunteers Bert and
Alan who also brought in a tractor to complete the filling of a
draining ditch thus making the path once more safe for walkers.
